1. Overview & Service Architecture
Automated media metadata search index and discovery directory.
mofli does NOT host, upload, encode, store, or transmit any video files, broadcasts, or media assets on its servers. mofli functions exclusively as an automated information location tool and metadata directory, indexing public external streams in an analogous manner to conventional web search engines.
System Interaction & Content Flow
Fetches title metadata, cast, synopsis, and poster artwork through licensed public databases (TMDB). Stores zero media content.
Independent external video CDNs (e.g. VidLink, 2Embed) host video files. mofli exercises no editorial control over external hosts.
Your browser establishes a sandboxed session directly with the third-party embed. No video payload touches mofli servers.
Because mofli does not possess direct control or access to external media hosting servers, taking down a link from mofli removes the search index listing but does not delete the original file from the internet host. To permanently eliminate content from the web, rightsholders are advised to contact the external hosting service provider directly.
2. DMCA Notice & Safe Harbor (17 U.S.C. § 512)
Title 17 United States Code Section 512 Notice and Takedown Policy.

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(d), online search directories and hyperlink directories are protected by the statutory safe harbor provided they expeditiously remove or disable access to reference links upon receipt of a legally compliant notification of claimed infringement.

mofli adopts a privacy-by-design posture. We collect the absolute minimum telemetry required to resolve search queries and render the application interface.
Watch history, saved bookmarks, player preferences, and active color theme reside in your browser’s LocalStorage. Never transmitted to third-party ad networks.
Standard reverse-proxy connection headers (IP, user agent) are held in volatile RAM for rate limiting and DDoS mitigation, purged on a rolling cycle.
mofli has never sold, rented, or traded user data. CCPA & GDPR statutory compliance prohibits third-party personal data monetization.
